POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Electronic Security systems (ESS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems/programs; this includes, but is not limited to the following: Evaluating and maintaining all ESS/CCTV systems, diagnosing and initiating corrective actions for system malfunctions and/or failures, supervising and evaluating employees operational performance of assigned ESS/CCTV systems, maintaining the patrol application Guardtek, maintaining the EverBridge emergency notification system, and ensuring regulatory compliance of systems/operations.

The primary duty schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. but they will maintain the ability to be recalled if an emergency arises with the ESS/CCTV that requires their expertise.

• Manage the process of Visitor Requests to include background vetting.
• Manage Users and Groups within the Security System.
• Manage the Manufacturing and Issuance of site identification and access badges.
• Manage access control using an Electronic Security System granting/denying access to the specific areas.
• Manage the patrol operations electronic reporting system Guardtek.
• Manage the EverBridge application used for emergency notification within all Airbus sites.
• Manage the registration and Issuance of short-term and long-term vehicle passes.
• Manage the Manufacturing and Issuance of Photography Permits.
• Manage the Electronic filing system of all visitors and permanently assigned personnel.
• Manage a broad spectrum of Networking components which includes PoE switching and IP cameras.
• Acting team expert for all networking related issues such as VLAN, ACL, Server, and port issues.
• Take part in the commissioning of these systems with our security integrator.
• Responsible for acceptance testing with the security integrator.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must possess an Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the law enforcement, security management, or related fields.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Law enforcement and or security support services of five plus (5 ) may be substituted for educational requirements.
• 8-10 years’ experience in security systems support, programming, installation, and servicing large complex access control systems (ACS) and video management systems (VMS).
• Preferred certifications from:
  • Siemens SiPass (ACS)
  • Milestone (VMS)
  • Bosch Intrusion
  • AXIS, Hanwha, HID, etc.
• Experience in the design, documentation, and integration of these systems.
• Having designed and deployed multiple access control and video management enterprise systems.
• Understand and can follow various IT project processes, language, and structure.
• SQL database certification preferred.
• Network training and certification preferred.
• Can perform as senior technical resource for resolution of system errors/failures .
• Successfully served as a point of authority and/or source of technical knowledge for area of expertise.
• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
• Must have an excellent working knowledge of access control systems and of protection criteria for sensitive/classified materials and facilities.
• Must show the ability to supervise subordinates in an effective and professional manner.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Must have demonstrated especially effective leadership and team-building skills.
• Should have experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications.
• Must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
